Recipe:
Sweet and fruity pineapple along with earthy turmeric pair perfectly with a piece of salmon!
Turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties and a dash of black pepper helps to boost its power. Salmon, one of my top ten beauty foods, is full of omega-3 fatty acids for glowing skin, healthy gums, and clear eyes.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb salmon
- 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons pineapple juice
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger
- ½ teaspoon ground turmeric
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ cup fresh or canned sliced pineapple
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, pineapple juice, ginger, turmeric, and black pepper.
Place salmon in a baking dish and pour sauce on top. Top salmon with pineapple slices and bake for 20-25 minutes, until cooked through.
