Teriyaki Baked Seitan

Recipe: Teriyaki Baked Seitan

Protein is an important nutrient on my Beauty Diet — it is essential for healthy and beautiful skin, hair, and nails. It can also aid in weight loss because it is the most satiating macronutrient. However, it can sometimes be difficult to find vegetarian options that are high in protein. Seitan is an excellent vegan protein source that tastes delicious when roasted with a light teriyaki sauce.

Ingredients:

8 oz seitan, cubed
1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Toss the cubed seitan with the teriyaki sauce until coated. Spread the seitan evenly in one layer across the prepared pan. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
